Alice "Lee" Powers, age 92, of Sarasota died on October 12, 2006. She was born in Boston, MA on December 27, 1913, and came to Florida in 1995 from Halifax, MA. She worked as a secretary for the Federal Government in Boston before she retired. Mrs. Powers was a member of the Roman Catholic faith.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 16, 2006 at 11 AM at Venice Memorial Gardens.
